An American Red Cross Shelter Operations Workshop will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Mount Abram High School in Salem, and Wednesday, Feb. 24 at the Rangeley Public Safety Building. Time is 6:30 to 9:30 for both classes.
There are four approved Red Cross Shelters in Franklin County and we are looking to train people to help set up and run them if a major incident occurs.The purpose of the Shelter Workshop is to provide an orientation to the activities and duties of shelter workers in a Red Cross Shelter, that will result in providing quality service to clients.
