On Saturday, July 17, 2021, The Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine, will be offering a Public Lobster or SteakTakeout - Pickup ,meal from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The meal will include your choice of Boiled Lobster or Rib Eye Steak with coleslaw, half an ear of corn, and blueberry cake for desert. A Single entree meal of Lobster or Steak will cost $20.00. Entrees ma be doubled for an additional $10.00 for a total of $30.00 per meal. Reservations for meals are required and you can make reservations by calling

The Farmington Gazebo in Meetinghouse Park will be the site of four summer concerts by area youth. Sponsored by ArtsFarmington, these mini concerts will be every Wednesday in July starting at 7pm. Join Kendra Wheeler from Bangor Savings Bank in a virtual lesson on banking in 2021 at the Farmington Public Library. Topics include the benefits of online banking, mobile banking, identity theft protection, travel safety, and increasing confidence online. The library will provide space, computers, and staff assistance for the interactive parts of the presentation. Call the library to reserve a computer at 778-4312. Farmington Historical Society Meeting, Monday, July 26, at the parking lot next to Abbott Park and Roberts Learning Center. Bring a picnic supper, and a chair and join us at 6 p.m. A short business meeting and program will follow at 7 p.m. Layne Nason, local Abbott School historian, will present a brief history of Abbott Park using old and new maps and photos. Trinity United Methodist Church in Farmington, Maine is partnering with the American Red Cross to provide a once a month Blood Drive for the rest of 2021. Wed., July 28th, 2021, starting at 11:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm, the Red Cross will be at Trinity UMC. Spandits! will hold its annual 5k & Kid’s 1 Mile Trail Run on July 30, running the Mt. Blue High School cross country course. The 1 Mile race will be held at 6 p.m. and the 5K event will be held at 6:30 p.m. The course is located across from the High School at 128 Seamon Road in Farmington. Parking is available in the high school lot. Registration is same day only, beginning at 5 p.m. at the event. The fee is $8 for the 1 Mile and $20 for the 5K.
