Time Management for Entrepreneurs: A 3-Part Series
As business owners, we are constantly prioritizing our work and managing our time. This 3-session course is designed to look at how we approach time management, and explore different techniques that will provide us with new ways of thinking about our time, workflow, and prioritization strategies. Our three sessions will involve reviewing and discussing time management frameworks and techniques, experimenting with these techniques, and learning from peers as to what they have found helpful in their experience. Blue Stocking Salon Fall 2021 Cohort “Bluestocking” refers to learned mid-eighteenth-century women (and men) who gathered in the great salons of London for intellectual conversation and witty banter. This literary salon “enjoyed society in undress” – that is, in their more practical country clothing, most notably their blue worsted stockings. The Bluestockings expanded the social boundaries of what women could think, write, and do. Modern-day bluestockings are distinctly unbound, intellectually curious women. This online discussion group will focus on issues related to women and entrepreneurship. We will consider select online articles, book excerpts, talks, and blogs, both contemporary and classic,

On October 19, the Mt. Blue Area Garden Club Meeting will welcome Gretchen Legler, Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Maine, Farmington where she will share her experience and knowledge on "Flower and Herbal Companions to Vegetables". Members and guests will learn about the flowers and herbs that can be planted with your vegetables to make them happy! The meeting will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington with a social time at 5:30pm, followed by a business meeting and speaker at 6:00pm. Friends, campers, camp staff, supporters - please join us as we give thanks for the many years of fellowship at the Camp: Camp at the Eastward, 68 Sawyers Mills Rd, Starks, ME 04911 There will be a service of thanksgiving at the chapel in the woods, led by Rev. Scott Planting, followed by a potluck lunch, and a gathering round the camp fire when stories and memories can be shared and spirits and friendships renewed.
