Pete Morris returns in ‘Alibi Blonde’

1 min read

FARMINGTON – The Daily Bulldog is pleased to announce the publication of Woody Hanstein’s sixth Pete Morris mystery, Alibi Blonde.

The local flavor of the Pete Morris series is undeniable – it is the only mystery series set in the foothills of western Maine as well as the only one published locally here in Franklin County.

Hanstein’s earlier five mysteries have received praise from literary critics and all feature the continuing adventures of Pete Morris, a somewhat down-and-out former lawyer trying his best to make sense of the way small town justice works both in and out of Maine’s courtrooms.  All six books are available at local bookstores and also directly through the the Daily Bulldog.

Praise for other Pete Morris titles:

Not Proven – “A plain and simple story, artfully woven. Hanstein’s writing is delightfully simple and spare.”
 – Bangor Daily News

Cold Snap – “…full of memorable detail, engaging characters and a lively plot that unfolds in a rural Maine the author knows so well.” – Maine in Print

State’s Witness – “…a master of detail, a writer with a splendid sense of place that takes his readers right along with him.” – Lewiston Sun Journal
