Kingfield hosts First Friday Art Walk on Dec. 3

KINGFIELD – On Friday, Dec. 3, Kingfield welcomes a First Friday Art Walk. Opening receptions will be hosted from 3 p.m.-8 p.m. at eight downtown galleries and museums. This is a winter-long event planned for the first Friday of each month, including Jan. 7, Feb. 4, March 4, and April 1. A detailed art walk map is available at www.kingfieldusa.com and at participating locations.

The venues include The Gallery at Mountain Village Farm B & B featuring art and antiques, The Stadler Gallery & Studio for Contemporary Art (open until 6 p.m.), The Reinholt Fine Art Gallery & Furniture Studio, John and Cynthia Orcutt Schoolhouse Gallery for Nature Photography, CSM Real Estate Artworks featuring a new local artist each month, Adam’s Attic Art & Antiques, The Stanley Museum, and the Ski Museum of Maine. Light refreshments will be served at most locations and a live poetry reading will be hosted at the Reinholt Gallery.

“Our mission is to engage the community and visitors in a celebration of Western Maine Arts in the historic village of Kingfield,” Saskia Reinholt said.
