Maine authors to read and discuss their work Wednesday

FARMINGTON – Maine short story writers John Clark of Hartford and Woody Hanstein of Farmington will each read from their short stories contained in the recently published collection of New England crime fiction, Quarry, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the Farmington Public Library.

Quarry has just been released by Level Best Books, which has published an annual collection of some of the most outstanding crime and mystery short fiction for the last seven years.

Quarry contains the 21 best stories selected from the nearly 100 works submitted by crime and mystery writers all over New England.

Come join the Maine authors as they read a page or two of their short fiction and discuss their work.

Quarry is becoming available now in local bookstores and libraries, and there will be sale copies on hand at the Farmington library for anyone interested in finding the perfect gift for all of the crime fiction lovers on their Christmas lists.
