Jim Austin

Jim returns to his roots in the foothills of the White Mountains to bring his music back to Rangeley. His experience in music includes 10 years on the classical piano before exercising his unique and creative performance style. Jim has performed with such legendary greats as TOTO, THE EAGLES, MOODY BLUES, STEPPENWOLF and many others.

Scoring music for television shows, performing on stage and recording with some of the most amazing musicians on the planet are but a few of his accomplishments. Jim likes to tell stories during his performances and he will tell of the influence his piano teacher had on his growing interest in music as a young man. His piano teacher, Professor Arthur J. Beaudet recognized early on the very gifted student he was working with, and this mutual relationship developed into a lifetime of respect and friendship.

Join us on this special Sunday Evening Music Series to enjoy the interpretive music of Jim Austin as he entertains from a very exciting repertoire.

Concert is free. Donations are appreciated for the Music and Outreach Programs. Watermelon Reception following the concert in the Undercroft of the Church.
