RANGELEY – Rangeley is one of the top five best winter vacation rental values in North America, according to TripAdvisor.
“Rangeley, Maine made our list of best value winter vacation rental getaways for a number of reasons, including its beautiful scenery and wealth of seasonal activities,” said Bryan Saltzburg, general manager of new initiatives at TripAdvisor.com. “Saddleback Mountain was certainly a factor due to its glowing reviews by TripAdvisor travelers. We also found that vacation rental homes in Rangeley on TripAdvisor were a great value when compared to other winter destinations, making them an attractive option for travelers.”
Using a mix of TripAdvisor’s data and editors’ decisions, the free travel guide and research Web site selected Rangeley in part because it has a large concentration of vacation rental homes that were significantly lower in price when compared to other popular ski/snow destinations across North America. Also, TripAdvisor’s Vacation Rentals Calculator found that a group of four could save up to $950 by staying in a vacation rental in Rangeley versus a hotel for a weeklong stay.
These money savings deals plus Rangeley’s great mix of winter activities like cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snowmobiling and beautiful scenery made Rangeley a top choice for the list.
