FARMINGTON – Mary Ellen Martin, University of Maine at Farmington director of store services at the University Store, was recently installed as president-elect of the Board of Trustees for the National Association of College Stores. The NACS is the professional trade association that represents the nation’s $10 billion collegiate retailing industry.
As president-elect, Martin will help provide governance for the association’s more than 4,000 store and associate members and will assist the organization in its mission of enhancing college stores through education, advocacy, and the utilization of new technologies.
Martin has served on the education and membership/bylaws committees, as well as numerous committees with NACS. She is also the past-president of Campus Stores of New England.
