WILTON – The next in a series of free programs sponsored by The Wilton Group will focus on how to have a business presence on the internet, Wednesday, March 30, 7:00 pm at the Wilton Free Public Library, Main St., downtown Wilton. Topics covered will be:

* Why your business should have a website
* How to Get It Done-effectively and inexpensively, maybe even DIY
* What you should include

In The Wilton Group’s recent Wilton Business Survey, a majority of respondents said that having a business presence on the internet is important and that they would like more information about either getting their own business website or improving the one they have. Phil Poirier, a web designer since 1998, will give the presentation. See his website at

Several computers will be available. Attendees can also bring their own laptops; free WiFi is available.

This program is part of an on-going series by The Wilton Group as part of its mission “to preserve, enhance, and promote the unique character of Wilton by facilitating communication, engagement, and cooperation in our community.”
