Coig Christmas Concert Fuel Assistance Fund Benefit

Mark your calendar! We’ve done it! Internationally acclaimed, award winning celtic band, Coig returns to Old South First Congregational Church, UCC on Wednesday, December 15th for the annual Christmas Benefit Concert! Our beloved Cape Breton, NS based band will bring holiday cheer as we raise money for the FAEM Ecumenial Heating Fund that will help our neighbors in Franklin County heat their homes this winter during their 2021 Maine/New England Christmas concert tour.
Guest musician, Thierry Clouette (guitar and foot percussion) will be joining Chrissy Crowley (fiddle), Rachel Davis (fiddle, and Darren McMullen (multi-instrumentalist) for the Christmas tour.
Owen Kennedy, 2021 US National Scottish Fiddle Champion will open for Coig, playing from approximately 6:30 pm to 7 pm.
With our community’s safety in mind, this year there will be a limit of 200 seats for the December 15th performance. Tickets will not be available at the door. Tickets must be purchased in advance online. * Details to be announced. Tickets will be $25 each (not including any ticket processing fee). There will be no jam session prior to the performance. Donations will be greatfully accepted for the Fuel Assistance Fund the evening of the concert.
All concert goers will be required to be masked and show proof of full vaccination with their original paper copy or clear photo of their COVID vaccination along with personal ID. School pool testing is not an accepted substitute for required proof of vaccination. (No refunds will be offered if proof of vaccination is not presented on the night of the concert.)
