LGBTQ+ Pride Comes to Farmington

For immediate release by the Farmington Pride Board of Directors. April 11, 2022.

This year Farmington joins many other forward thinking Maine communities in celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride. The event is being held at Meetinghouse Park beside the courthouses on Saturday June 25, 2022 @ 11Am. This event is family friendly and open to the public, all are welcome. Acceptance and education are the number one game changers for queer people in rural america we are here to foster that in our community.

There will be music from various bands and talents as well as Drag performances by gender artists from all across our great state. There will be speeches from local and state leaders along with food and item vendors scattered around the park. A harm reduction table to assist those struggling and a Queer education table to help everyone better understand our community. These are just the highlights!

There are also raffle items and gift cards donations from local businesses we will raffle off, you can purchase tickets at the Farmington Pride table to bid to help raise money for next year’s Pride event!
