In Maine, 1 in 5 people will experience sexual violence in their lifetime.  It’s this shocking statistic that gave our race its name, the “One in Five 5k.”  For the last 11 years, many people have decided to take a stand against sexual violence by running or walking at this event in support of survivors in their own communities.

On Sunday, April 30th 2023, we are hosting our 12th annual One in Five 5K! Get your team together and join us as we Race for the One! This year’s event will be at FirstPark in Oakland at 9:00 AM. We will also be offering a virtual option!
