Paper Making Heritage Community Celebration!

Maine’s Paper and Heritage Museum, 22 Church Street Livermore Falls, will host the 3rd annual Paper Making Heritage Community Celebration on Saturday, August 28 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Events include museum tours, hands on paper making demonstrations, Riley family history presentation by Will Riley at 11 AM (Edwin Riley, Will’s great grandfather was the first manager of the Paper Mills built in the area which were incorporated with others to become International Paper Corporation), initial presentation of a model of the Riley Mansion crafted and donated to the museum by Robert Shink, garage sale and lunch of hot dogs, potato salad, chips and a celebration cake at noon. Event and lunch are by donation. All donations go towards museum operations and a fund to replace the roof and repair the foundation.
