Join us at the Farmington Public Library and listen to local author Sarah Carlson discuss and read from her new book, Tender Light Softens, as well as one of her earlier volumes In the Currents of Quiet. Carlson will talk about how movement in the outdoor world and writing became part of her process for healing – paving the way from despair to hope and awareness of the present moment, whatever it contains. The presentation will include stories of how this feeling has permeated her life as a teacher, mother, and all around human. Select pieces will be read alongside a slideshow of the photos that go along with each poem.
