Strong library’s Tails and Tales Reading Program is accepting sign ups now

It's not too late to sign up for this summer's Tails and Tales Reading Program with the Forster Memorial Library in Strong. We are accepting sign-ups until the middle of July and the program runs until Aug. 21. Prizes include Giffords, gift certificates to local bookstores, Subway, and the chance to win one of two bikes! Trinity UMC Red Cross Blood Drive

Trinity UMC 612 FARMINGTON FALLS RD, Farmington

Trinity United Methodist Church in Farmington, Maine is partnering with the American Red Cross to provide a once a month Blood Drive for the rest of 2021. Wed., July 28th, 2021, starting at 11:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm, the Red Cross will be at Trinity UMC. Please call ahead so that you can have a scheduled appointment or go to your donor site at redcross.org and make your appointment as soon as possible. Please take the time to donate so that you can do your part to save lives. Type 0 blood is in high demand.

Music at the Gazebo

Meetinghouse Park,Downtown

The Farmington Gazebo in Meetinghouse Park will be the site of four summer concerts by area youth. Sponsored by ArtsFarmington, these mini concerts will be every Wednesday in July starting at 7pm. There will be no admission charge but donations will be welcomed. On July 28 Hope Chernesky will be playing fiddle, guitar and singing. For more information check the website artsfarmington.org.
