Jay-Niles Memorial Library Booksale
Jay-Niles Memorial Library 983 Main St, JayThe Jay-Niles Memorial Library is holding a summer-long used book sale to benefit children’s library programs. The book sale is open Monday & Tuesday 1-6, Wednesday & Thursday 12-5, and Friday 9-2. Prices for books are by donation. A wide selection of books is available in the library’s Memorial Hall in the upstairs of the library. All are welcome to come shop through the huge collection of books, including books for children, teens, and adults, large-print books, paperback and hardcover books, fiction and nonfiction books, crafting books, and more. We also have DVDs, VHS, CDs, vinyl, and audiobooks for sale.
Strong library’s Tails and Tales Reading Program is accepting sign ups now
It's not too late to sign up for this summer's Tails and Tales Reading Program with the Forster Memorial Library in Strong. We are accepting sign-ups until the middle of July and the program runs until Aug. 21. Prizes include Giffords, gift certificates to local bookstores, Subway, and the chance to win one of two bikes! Farmington Grange yard sale
The Farmington Grange will hold its last summer yard sale August 7, from 9 to 3 pm. It will be an inside and out sale featuring good used household goods, dishes, small kitchen appliances and lots of yummy baked goods. The purpose of the sale is to raise money for building maintenance and repairs. The grange may accept donations, for info please call 778-6637.

Wilton Blueberry Fest bake sale
As part of the Wilton Blueberry Fest, The Wilton United Methodist Church will be having a bake sale on Friday, August 6, consisting of Assorted Pies, Whoopie Pies, Muffins, wrapped blueberry cake, coffee, soda and water will be available. On Saturday, August 7th, a luncheon of Meatball Subs, Grilled Hot Dogs, Chicken, Ham and Egg Salad Rolls will be available, also Blueberry Desserts. Seating will be available on the Church lawn. All Church activities will begin at 10:00 am
Book Sale

Masks are required and the number of people admitted at a time will be limited. Pricing is by donation and all proceeds benefit the Wilton Public Library's services and collections.
Annual chicken barbecue
Wilton Congregational Church Main Street, WiltonWilton Congregational Church will hold its annual chicken barbecue during the second day of the Blueberry Fest. The $11 meal includes half a chicken, coleslaw, roll and blueberry cake. The meal is take-out only, with tickets sold only at the door.
