The Jay-Niles Memorial Library is holding a summer-long used book sale to benefit children’s library programs. The book sale is open Monday & Tuesday 1-6, Wednesday & Thursday 12-5, and Friday 9-2.  Prices for books are by donation.  A wide selection of books is available in the library’s Memorial Hall in the upstairs of the library.  All are welcome to come shop through the huge collection of books, including books for children, teens, and adults, large-print books, paperback and hardcover books, fiction and nonfiction books, crafting books, and more.  We also have DVDs, VHS, CDs, vinyl, and audiobooks for sale.

Join United Way for the 5th annual COLOR ME  UNITED 5k...you can walk, run, or roll as you have a blast getting sprayed with paint and water. Finally no need to travel to have this kind of fun! Franklin County USBC Bowling Membership Meeting

All Franklin County Bowlers We will be having our annual members meeting at Meadow Lanes on Sunday, Aug 22nd at 1pm.  We will need to set the membership fee for the up coming year.  Last year it was $15 with $13 going to USBC, $1 going to Maine State USBC and $1 going to us/Franklin County USBC. Will have the league packets available too. Doug

Cruise In/Car Hop at Fairbanks Union Church, 583 Fairbanks Road, Farmington. 4:30 to 7:00.  Classic car registration: 4:30 to 6:00pm. Fee $5.00. Prizes lst: $100., 2nd., $50., 3rd $25.00.   Live music by Gambol Creek - Jeff and Donna Wells.  Food on sale - Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, French Fries, Root Beer Floats, Whoopie Pies, Soda.  There will be a 50/50 Raffle.   Come and have fun. If rain - cancelled.  All proceeds go to the Deacon's Mission Fund.
