The Trinity United Methodist Church is having a make a donation yard sale on Sat., Sept.  18th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please come and find many good items for a simple donation to the church. There will plenty of items to choose from.  Books, small kitchen appliances , china and stoneware, camping equipment, baby equipment, linens, craft materials, etc.

Free Outdoor Art Workshop

Elizabeth Olbert (faculty at UMF) will lead a conversation on the limits of realism and Andrew Wyeth’s depictions of Mainers before guiding participants through a multimedia art workshop. Artists and non-artists are welcome, and all art materials will be provided. Bagels and coffee will be served at 9:30 a.m. Discussion and workshop begin at 10:00 a.m.

Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad

Trains will depart Sanders station on the hour from 11 AM through 3 PM. You are free to depart on one train and return on a later train should you wish to make use of our picnic grove or simply spend more time exploring the roundhouse and other nearby buildings preserved from the original railroad. The last return train departs the roundhouse area at approximately 3:45 PM. Read more

United Way’s Cornhole for a Cause

United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is excited to offer Cornhole for a Cause this Fall! Is there a better way to kick off the fall season than at an apple orchard? With hard cider? And cornhole? The event will be September 18th, 2021 at 2pm. We are even more excited to share that it will be held at newly established Ayuh Cidah, located at 272 Morrison Hill Road, Farmington. Ayuh Cidah has expanded beyond pick-your-own! This beautiful farm, started in 1860, is the perfect venue to enjoy tasting one of their many varieties of hard cider. United Way is

Public “Take Out/Pickup” meal

On Saturday, September 18, the Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Me., will be offering a Public "Take Out/Pickup" meal from 5 until 6:00 pm. The meal will be Chicken, stuffing, Potato, Vegetables, Rolls, and Apple Pie. $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for those under 12.
