Town of Starks Appeals Board Hearing

The Appeals Board will have a public hearing on a request from New England Clean Energy Connect (NECEC) for an extension variance of their Site Plan and Shoreland Zoning Project in Starks. This variance would grant an 18 month  extension until December 2, 2023. Summary: The Site Plan Review Ordinance limits the duration of the Site Plan Approvals to an initial twelve months and two 6 month extensions.  NECEC Transmission, LLC would like an additional 18 month  extension until December 2, 2023 due to issues beyond their control.  Questions/concerns can be sent to townofstarks@gmail.com with Appeals Board – NECEC Variance
