City Lights North Summer Performing Arts Camp

Old State Theatre City Lights North 231 Broadway, Farmington

20th Annual Summer Performing Arts Camp 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily (including weekends) July 1-16 July 1 is registration: come between 8 and 12 to register and work a bit. Performance on the 16th. This program is free; it is a demanding pre-professional program in dance, singing, acting, fencing, and art. Ages 6-17. Teachers include: Russell Ferguson, Adrienne Hawkins, Braun Dapper, Hershey Bliss, Zakyia Watkins, Duggan Hill, and more. Call 207 778 9114 or text 617 543 9749 with any questions. The Art Among Us 2

Emery Community Arts Center at the University of Maine at Farmington

Gold Leaf Senior College at UMF , art exhibit.  The exhibit features 29 local artists/Goldleaf members working in acrylics,oils, photography, wood, glass and more.  The exhibit will be at the Emery Art Center on the UMF campus.  The opening reception will be on June 17th from 5-7PM.  and will continue thru July 29th.

Week-long Book Sale

The Doctor Shaw Memorial Library in Mt. Vernon will be hosting a week-long booksale during our usual open hours throughout the week of July 11, here at the library, in the Clayton Dolloff room in the second floor of the older part of the building. Please come browse & buy during the hours of: Monday (July 11) from 3-6pm, Wednesday (July 13) from 9AM-Noon and 3-7PM, and Saturday (July 16) from 10AM-3PM. Donations will be $1.00/bag of books – quite a deal! Come in and stock up on reading material! We’ll be happy to see you!

Daily Vacation Bible School

Calvary Hill Baptist Church 195 US Rt 2E, Wilton, ME

Children of all ages are welcome to attend Daily Vacation Bible School July 11 - 15 each evening from 6:00 - 7:30. There will be a Bible lesson each evening along with songs, crafts, games and refreshments Monday through Thursday. Then on Friday evening, parents and family members are welcome to come to the closing program when the children will share what they have learned. Western Maine Foothills Band Concert in the park series

Meetinghouse Park,Downtown

The Western Maine Foothills Band will be performing in Farmington's Meeting House Park every Monday starting June 6, 2022 and ending Aug. 29, 2022 from 7 PM until 8:30 PM. We are a traditional band that plays marches, waltz's, big band, and several other choice music. We welcome anyone to join us at any time through out the summer. You can find us on Facebook.
