The Art Among Us 2

Emery Community Arts Center at the University of Maine at Farmington

Gold Leaf Senior College at UMF , art exhibit.  The exhibit features 29 local artists/Goldleaf members working in acrylics,oils, photography, wood, glass and more.  The exhibit will be at the Emery Art Center on the UMF campus.  The opening reception will be on June 17th from 5-7PM.  and will continue thru July 29th.

Calvary Hill Baptist Church 195 US Rt 2E, Wilton, ME

Children of all ages are welcome to attend Daily Vacation Bible School July 11 - 15 each evening from 6:00 - 7:30. There will be a Bible lesson each evening along with songs, crafts, games and refreshments Monday through Thursday. Then on Friday evening, parents and family members are welcome to come to the closing program when the children will share what they have learned. This will be followed by an ice cream social.  To register, please call Judy at 779-7180.

There will be Bible lessons, songs, games Crafts, and refreshments each night Monday through Thursday. On Friday evening, July 15th,  family and friends are invited to a closing program at the church where the children will share what they have learned all week. An ice cream social will follow the closing program.

Mt Blue Area Garden Club is pleased to share the gardens of Becky Grant-Widen at 847 Orchard Drive, Wilton on July 19 at 5:30. Bring your own chair, a sandwich and a plant to swap. Creative desserts are provided by club hostesses. Becky will do a tour of her vegetable and flower gardens, where she uses the “no-dig” method of gardening, as well as her efforts to address invasive and aggressive plants using goats and pigs, particularly multiflora rose and Asiatic bittersweet.
