Afternoon Common Loon Paddles on Saddleback Lake Wednesday afternoons into early evenings 3:30-5:30 PM Take a guided kayak trip with NICK LEADLEY to observe loons of the Rangeley Lakes Region. Nick is a specialized bird photographer and loon enthusiast. He has been photographing common loons and native wildlife for 20 years plus. Strong Troop 500, Boy Scouts of America, Recognized By Strong Historical Society

Strong Historical Society invites the public, and especially past members of Strong’s Troop 500, Boy Scouts of America, to attend its regular meeting Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the Hammond Memorial House, 79 N. Main Street, in Strong. Doors will be open at 5:00 p.m. for brief tours. Potluck supper at 6:00 p.m. (Bring a dish of your favorite food). At 7:00 p.m., after supper, a special recognition of past members of Strong’s Troop 500, Boy Scouts of America, will be made and those Scouts attending will be recognized and given the opportunity to speak of their memories of scouting
