Storytelling workshops continue

Have you ever wished you could keep a crowd on the edge of their seats with a good story? Well now is your chance! The Rangeley Friends of the Arts has received a Discovery Grant from the Onion Foundation to host Storytelling Workshops. The workshops will be held twice a month with an opportunity to perform monthly. Come craft your story with our favorite funny man, storyteller extraordinaire and RLRS English teacher, Tim Straub. Participants should come to the workshop with some ideas for your own story, something that really happened to you. Since you are telling a true story,

Campfire Chronicles

Martin Woods Farm 24 Abijah Hill Rd., Starks

Our second of many Campfire Chronicles at our farm. Come visit the farm and hear talented local musicians, and enjoy fun family fun (with room to dance)! We'll have a campfire and farm fresh food featuring our own farm raised products. May 7 is our "Taco" night -  veggie options and meat options available. 5:30 is our open jam, so bring your voice or your instrument, 6:30 is scheduled musicians. All ages welcome, $20 parking (per carload) covers the farm fresh food and live music, fun and games.

The Vienna Union Hall announced it will open May 7, 2022 at 7 PM featuring the trio of Greg Boardman, Elsie Gawler,.and Steve Muise performing music drawing from a Scotch, Irish and French repertoire and culture. These three musicians are some of the finest that Maine has to offer. They bring together an incredible tradition of rich traditional and ethic music which is not to be missed.
