Reading Group and Book Giveaway
Farmington Public Library 117 Academy Street, Farmington, MEVisit the Farmington Public Library to pick up two award-winning autobiographical comic books!: Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis (2000) and Liz Prince's Tomboy (2014). Winner of the Rainbow Project Book List, Tomboy is a witty memoir about grappling with identity labels and stereotypes in the process of growing up. The reading group will meet on Feb. 9 to discuss Persepolis and on Feb. 16 to discuss Tomboy.

Persepolis & the Graphic Memoir

Storytelling workshops continue
Have you ever wished you could keep a crowd on the edge of their seats with a good story? Well now is your chance! The Rangeley Friends of the Arts has received a Discovery Grant from the Onion Foundation to host Storytelling Workshops. The workshops will be held twice a month with an opportunity to perform monthly. Come craft your story with our favorite funny man, storyteller extraordinaire and RLRS English teacher, Tim Straub. Participants should come to the workshop with some ideas for your own story, something that really happened to you. Since you are telling a true story,
