ArtsFarmington Keyboard Festival–Live Panel Discussion

In conjunction with the ArtsFarmington Keyboard Festival performances of keyboard artists Rebecca Pechefsky (April 10), David Kim (April 17), and George Lopez (April 24), there will be a Live Zoom Panel Discussion with the three performers together on May 2 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. This will be a time to learn from the artists and ask questions. The discussion will be moderated by Aaron Wyanski, Assistant Professor of Music at UMF. This live event is available to the general public free of charge to those who register for the Festival series or any individual concert, or $10 for anyone

ArtsFarmington will be hosting the Maine Squeeze, a six-member accordion ensemble on June 12 at 6:30 at Titcomb Ski Lodge in West Farmington. People can pre-register at artsfarmington.org at $10/ticket. Those under 18 and UMF students are free. Tickets will also be available at the “door” but pre-registration is preferable. ArtsFarmington is happy to host a return engagement for Maine Squeeze, famed six-member accordion ensemble of Maine. They will appear outdoors at Titcomb Mountain, located at 180 Ski Slope Road, Farmington, Maine 04938, on Saturday, June 12 at 6:30pm. Maine Squeeze has been squeezing together since 1996 throughout the state at fairs, festivals, concerts, private and community events. Their music, drawn from around the world as well as original tunes, showcases the versatility of the accordion from high energy, foot tapping tunes to mesmerizing numbers that emphasize the drama and beauty of the instrument. Backyard Bands  at 158 middle street Farmington Maine 04938 Open to the public! Kids under 12 are free. Bring a chair or blanket! Food, Music, games, and MEGS SWEETS! Join Us for Lindsay Mower! Lindsay is a songstress from Maine. She writes her own music, featuring a fusion of jazzy, folksy, and bluesy pop tunes. She is currently the principal songwriter, vocalist, and bassy rhythm guitarist for the band Natural High Jumble. She loves to have fun and she has really nice teeth.

The Farmington Gazebo in Meetinghouse Park will be the site of four summer concerts by area youth. Sponsored by ArtsFarmington, these mini concerts will be every Wednesday in July starting at 7pm. There will be no admission charge but donations will be welcomed Here is the schedule: July 7- Abrahm and Samuel Geissinger (trumpet and French horn); July 14- Scott Barber (guitar and kazoo); July 21 – Rachel Spear (guitar and vocals); and July 28 - Hope Chernesky (fiddle, guitar and vocals)

July 15, 2021, 7:30 p.m., at the Chesterville Center Union Meeting House.  Louisa Stancioff performs a mix of original folk-pop-country-indie originals as well as a few cover favorites, combining a versatile instrumental talent with pellucid, enchanting vocals.  Ellie Sloan-Barton and Jula Moll-Rocek will open the show with their sweet mix of latin american folk and original indie-folk tunes.
