RIDE THE NARROW GAUGE! The SRRL RR Museum, 128 Bridge St in Phillips, will operate on Sat Sept 25 and Sun Sept 26. Trains will depart Bridge St at 11AM, 12PM, 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM. The trees are changing, enjoy the scenic splendor along the banks of the Sandy River! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy! Walk the Flyrod Crosby Trail…. Fare is $6.00 for Adults, $2.00 for Children. Well behaved Dogs on a leash may accompany their humans!

Gospel Service at North New Portland Community Church

    Come and join us for a fun service – no sermon, just gospel songs and lots of opportunity to join in! We will be raising the rafters with well-loved gospel singer Sammie Angel and contributions from members of the church. Refreshments will be provided afterwards. Third Annual Family Fun Farm Day

Join us at Martin Woods Farm on September 26th from 12 - 6 pm. We will be following COVID-19 guidelines for outdoor activities. Our activities include, but not limited to, carriage rides, lawn games, bonfires and s'mores, and many many yummy farm fresh food offerings. Dr. Stephen Grandchamp (Assistant Professor of Literature and Digital Humanities at UMF) will screen and discuss four critical music videos from the career of David Bowie (including “Life on Mars?”) in order to initiate the New Commons Project’s exploration of his life and art.

Model Train Display by Great Falls Model RR Club, Museum Tours and Yard Sale at Maine’s Paper & Heritage Museum!

Join us as we welcome the Great Falls Model Railroad Club to Livermore Falls. They will have model trains on display.  We will also have a special exhibit featuring a model train crafted by Ralph Smith of Jay, generously donated to the museum.  In addition to learning more about trains, come tour the museum and check out our Yard Sale!  Event is free, but donations are appreciated as we raise funds to repair the museum roof and continue operations!
