United Way is partnering with Riverside Greenhouses and B&B Bakery to offer a special Mother's Day treat this year! This year, you can order a fresh spring bouquet (large) for $25 or a small fresh spring bouquet with a 1/2 dozen macarons for $25. As in past years, you can also order a bouquet to donate to a local nursing home and we'll get them delivered by area youth. Orders accepted until May 5th. Orders will be ready for pick up (at 218 Fairbanks Road, Farmington) or delivery (for business with 5+ orders) Friday May 12th. What better way to

FPL Annual Plant Sale
The Farmington Public Library Annual Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, May 6th, from 10-12. Come support the library and take home a few plants! Donations of plants and seedlings of all kinds are greatly appreciated, they can be dropped off at the library the week before starting on May 2nd. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Old South Church Plant Sale
The annual Old South Church plant sale will begin on Monday, May 15 and run through Sunday, June 11 offering primarily perennials and "Simply Lilacs". Plant selection can vary from day to day and may include: herbs, houseplants, veggie seedlings, and garden decor. Location is 125 Woodfield Drive, off Perham Street in Farmington. Self-serve 9 am to 7 pm daily.

Saturday, May 20, Baked Beans and Casserole Supper, 5 - 6 pm at the Industry Town Hall. Sponsored by Shorey Chapel to benefit the new roof fund. Adults - $10 and children - $5. Menu also includes vegetables, breads and desserts.

It’s springtime! Be sure to mark your calendar for Mt. Blue Area Garden Club’s Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 20th at 9:00am at Meetinghouse Park in Farmington - rain or shine. Don’t miss this annual event where there will be a wide variety of locally grown native plants, perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs, and houseplants all cultivated by our members with care and reasonably priced. Stay and visit with our members if you’d like to learn and share gardening tips and tricks. The proceeds from this fundraiser benefit our scholarship program, which is offered to high school seniors

On Saturday, MAY 20, 2023, there will be a Public at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine , from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The menu will be Baked Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Vegetable, Dinner Roll, and Homemade Dessert. The price will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for those under 12. Saturday, May 27, there will be the 2 annual PLANT SALES in Industry. Shorey Chapel at 1109 Industry Road will hold its plant sale from 9 am - noon along with a food sale to benefit the new roof fund. For more info call Judy/Dale @ 778-2157. Our Annual Plant Sale for Ending Hunger will be Saturday, May 27th from 9:00am til noon at the OTIS FCU parking lot (170 Main Street, Jay). A variety of plants and flowers will be available for purchase by donation. All proceeds go to local food pantries through the Maine Credit Unions' Campaign for Ending Hunger. Two winners for our Planter Raffle will be drawn that day as well! Chances can be purchased with one of our friendly Tellers, and proceeds go toward ending hunger in the local area. Coplin Plantation Schoolhouse Historical Society Fundraiser
Please join us for our annual Memorial Day Fundraiser which will benefit the Coplin Plantation Schoolhouse Historical Society this year. The schoolhouse needs to be re-shingled and the exterior painted before reopening for the public. The last classes for the school were in 1943, 80 years ago this year. The fundraiser will include a food/bake sale 4-7 pm, and Karaoke for a Cause from 7-10 pm at The Stratton Plaza, 149 Main Street, Stratton Maine. The Grand Lodge Masonic Charitable Organization will match our community improvement project dollar for dollar up to $3,000 donated. If you are unable to attend

Thomas Performing Arts Center Comp Team Showcase
The Thomas Performing Arts Dance Center’s 2023 Competition Team will be performing their competition dances in a special Dance Showcase on June 2nd and 3rd. These dancers work hard and compete throughout Maine and New Hampshire against studios from around New England. Competition dance teaches students much more than dance, as they hear direct feedback and correction from judges, from their instructors and others. Working as a team, learning from their mistakes, taking constructive feedback, exhibiting discipline and focus are all valuable skills that these athletes learn throughout their season! Tours at Maine’s Paper & Heritage Museum
Visit Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum at 22 Church Street in Livermore Falls to learn more about the wood products industry in Maine and exhibits showcasing local history. Tours are free, but donations are encouraged and appreciated. All donations go toward matching a $25,000 grant received to repair the museum foundation.
