In partnership with Loki’s Workshop, a Halloween specialist, this year will be bigger and better than ever! As the event has grown, the space at Titcomb was just not enough, so make sure you head to the Farmington Fairgrounds this Halloween. Come, bring your appetite and donations for a food ministry that delivers. The Monthly food deliveries serve over 45 families and growing in Franklin County with food and necessities!

Hot To Trot Turkey Take Out Meal at Trinity United Methodist Church on Nov. 20th. Pick-up time will start at 11:30 until 1:00, just drive up to the entrance at Trinity. The meal cost is only $6.00 to help benefit the church operational costs. Jay Sock Hop

Jay will once again hold a drive by Sock Hop this year on Saturday November 13th from 10 to 2. Last year we collected 750 pairs of socks for Maine's homeless veterans and we hope to do 1000 this year. So drive by on the 13thth and drop of your donation for out male and female veterans. If you wish you can add a Christmas card with your donation. Thank you for your continues support for this worthwhile cause!!

Hot-To-Trot Turkey Take Out Meal

The Hot-To-Trot Turkey Take Out Meal is being put on at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Farmington on Saturday Nov. 20th. Time to pick-up the meal will start at 11:30 am and end at 1:00 pm. The meal costs $6.00 and will include turkey in gravy over homemade biscuits, squash or green beans, cranberry sauce, and homemade cookies. The money raised enables us to continue to provide community service. Thank you.

Winter Festival

Come join us for a Winter Festival at St Joseph Center (parish hall)  at 133 Middle St, Farmington on December 4 (Chester Greenwood Day) from 9 am to 3 pm. The festival is a fundraiser for St. Joseph parish social ministry whose mission is to provide outreach and support to the local community. At the festival you will find quality balsam and dried flower wreaths, assorted gifts, Ora breads, crafts from Haiti, a raffle for a beautiful "COVID stash buster quilt" donated by the Maine Mountain Quilters, as well as delicious homemade haddock chowder provided by the take-out meal crew. This auction is to benefit UMF Classified Employees children/spouses for scholarships to continue their education.  We have a variety of items:  new items, gift baskets, pictures, walking sticks, food baskets, baked goods, crafts and many more. Internationally acclaimed, award winning celtic band, Coig returns to Old South First Congregational Church, UCC on Wednesday, December 15th for the annual Christmas Benefit Concert! Our beloved Cape Breton, NS based band will bring holiday cheer as we raise money for the FAEM Ecumenial Heating Fund that will help our neighbors in Franklin County heat their homes this winter during their 2021 Maine/New England Christmas concert tour. Every Wed. morning the Trinity UMC cooks and special biscuit maker, cook up delicious fresh biscuits and larges pots of fish chowder for the community to enjoy! The take out meal can be picked up at the front door on Wed. at 11:30-12:30 each week through the months of Jan., Feb. and March.
