City Lights North Summer Performing Arts Camp
Old State Theatre City Lights North 231 Broadway, Farmington20th Annual Summer Performing Arts Camp 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily (including weekends) July 1-16 July 1 is registration: come between 8 and 12 to register and work a bit. Performance on the 16th. This program is free; it is a demanding pre-professional program in dance, singing, acting, fencing, and art. Ages 6-17. Teachers include: Russell Ferguson, Adrienne Hawkins, Braun Dapper, Hershey Bliss, Zakyia Watkins, Duggan Hill, and more. Call 207 778 9114 or text 617 543 9749 with any questions. June 16th, 1904 marks the day when James Joyce's novel Ulysses takes place. This day is now celebrated the world over as "Bloomsday" after the title character, fictional Leopold Bloom.
