Public Masonic Supper

On January 15, 2022, there will be a Public Takeout/Pickup supper at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant,Road East Wilton, Maine, from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m.The menu will be Ham, Potato, Mixed Vegetables, applesauce, rolls, and brownies for dessert. $9.00 for Adults and $5.00 for those under 12. We would appreciate all meal reservations by 5.00 pm on Thursday, January 13th. We also offer home deliveries in the Farmington and Wilton area for $10.00 per delivered meal. Town of Starks Appeals Board Hearing

The Appeals Board will have a public hearing on a request from the Starks Holding LLC for an extension variance on their solar array project.  This variance request would allow the Planning Board to grant the second extension for which they have applied from 6 months to 18 months. Summary: The Site Plan Review Ordinance limits the duration of the Site Plan Approvals to an initial twelve months and two 6 month extensions.  The Starks holding LLC would like to extend the second extension to an 18 month extension instead of 6 months due to issues beyond their control.

As those anxious to begin tapping maple trees are now hanging sapping pails, gardeners are anxious to get back to digging in the warm earth. The Mt. Blue Area Garden Club welcomes you to its first meeting of 2022 on March 15, 12:30 at Trinity United Methodist Church on Farmington Falls Road, Farmington. This variance would grant an 18 month  extension until December 2, 2023.
