Blue Area Garden Club Meeting will welcome Gretchen Legler, Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Maine, Farmington where she will share her experience and knowledge on "Flower and Herbal Companions to Vegetables". Members and guests will learn about the flowers and herbs that can be planted with your vegetables to make them happy! The meeting will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington with a social time at 5:30pm, followed by a business meeting and speaker at 6:00pm. The talk will be presented on Wednesday, November 10 at 7:00-8:30 pm in UMF Preble Hall’s Thomas Auditorium at 173 High Street in Farmington. Mt. Blue Area Garden Club November Meeting

RSU 9 Strategic Planning Community Engagement Session
The RSU 9 School System is continually looking to improve its practices in order to best meet students’ needs in this ever-changing world. Right now our school system is re-establishing a vision for our school system, our future direction! A meeting will be held at the New Vineyard Library, Community Room. 20 Lake Street (Rt. 234) New Vineyard, ME. on Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. This fall we are collecting ideas from as many community members as possible.
