United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is excited to offer our 5th annual COLOR ME UNITED 5K Run/Walk this year! The event will be August 28th, 2021. The race will start at 9am with a huge color explosion at the Narrow Gauge Movie Theater parking lot, right off Front Street in Farmington. The race will end there as well. This year will be even more COLORFUL and fun, come dressed as cool or funky as you can, with your team or as an individual, to win the “best dressed” award! Wilton Blueberry Fest bake sale

As part of the Wilton Blueberry Fest, The Wilton United Methodist Church will be having a bake sale on Friday, August 6, consisting of Assorted Pies, Whoopie Pies, Muffins, wrapped blueberry cake, coffee, soda and water will be available. On Saturday, August 7th, a luncheon of Meatball Subs, Grilled Hot Dogs, Chicken, Ham and Egg Salad Rolls will be available, also Blueberry Desserts. Seating will be available on the Church lawn. All Church activities will begin at 10:00 am

Mt.Blue 1980 Class Reunion

An ecumenical church service will be held 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at the Bass Park gazebo by Wilson Lake. Please bring your own chairs. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at the Dryden Baptist Church on Depot Street. Communion will be served. All are welcome.

Masonic Group public takeout/meal pickup

On Saturday, August 21st, the Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine. will be offering a Public Takeout/Pickup meal from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Farmington Historical Society yard sale

Farmington Historical Society will be holding it's almost annual yard sale this coming Saturday, September 4th from 8 until 2 on the lawn of the Octagon House, corner of High and Perham Sts. The sale was not held last year so there will be more items for sale. All proceeds go to heating and maintaining the three buildings the society manages, the North Church, the Octagon also known as the Hiram Ramsdell House, and the Titcomb House. Funds are also needed to keep it's collection of historic Farmington artifacts and documents safe and available to the public. For more information
