On Saturday, July 17, 2021, The Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine, will be offering a Public Lobster or SteakTakeout - Pickup ,meal from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The meal will include your choice of Boiled Lobster or Rib Eye Steak with coleslaw, half an ear of corn, and blueberry cake for desert. A Single entree meal of Lobster or Steak will cost $20.00. United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is excited to offer our 5th annual COLOR ME UNITED 5K Run/Walk this year! The event will be August 28th, 2021. The race will start at 9am with a huge color explosion at the Narrow Gauge Movie Theater parking lot, right off Front Street in Farmington. The race will end there as well. This year will be even more COLORFUL and fun, come dressed as cool or funky as you can, with your team or as an individual, to win the “best dressed” award! Wilton Blueberry Fest bake sale

As part of the Wilton Blueberry Fest, The Wilton United Methodist Church will be having a bake sale on Friday, August 6, consisting of Assorted Pies, Whoopie Pies, Muffins, wrapped blueberry cake, coffee, soda and water will be available. On Saturday, August 7th, a luncheon of Meatball Subs, Grilled Hot Dogs, Chicken, Ham and Egg Salad Rolls will be available, also Blueberry Desserts. Seating will be available on the Church lawn. All Church activities will begin at 10:00 am

An ecumenical church service will be held 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at the Bass Park gazebo by Wilson Lake. Please bring your own chairs. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at the Dryden Baptist Church on Depot Street. Communion will be served. All are welcome.

Paper Making Heritage Community Celebration!

Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum 22 Chuch Street, Livermore Falls, ME

Maine’s Paper and Heritage Museum, 22 Church Street Livermore Falls, will host the 3rd annual Paper Making Heritage Community Celebration on Saturday, August 28 from 10 AM to 2 PM.  Events include museum tours, hands on paper making demonstrations, Riley family history presentation by Will Riley at 11 AM (Edwin Riley, Will’s great grandfather was the first manager of the Paper Mills built in the area which were incorporated with others to become International Paper Corporation), initial presentation of a model of the Riley Mansion crafted and donated to the museum by Robert Shink, garage sale and lunch of hot
