10th annual One in Five 5K

Join us for the 10th annual One in Five 5K either virtual or in person on Sunday, April 25th at FirstPark (46 FirstPark Dr) in Oakland at 9 am! Inspired by the current Maine statistic of an estimated ONE in FIVE people in Maine have been affected by sexual violence (Muskie School of Public Policy, Maine Crime Victimizations Rates, 2011), the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center is hosting this race. Memorial Day Chicken Barbecue

VFW Post #3335 in JAY will hold it's annual Memorial Day chicken barbecue on May 31st this year. Tentatively serving at 1pm the meal consists of 1/2 chicken, macaroni salad, chips, and chocolate chip cookies. The price is $12. Take-out only. Call Janice to reserve your meal 897-2122.
