This class is designed for people who are living with chronic pain. The workshop offers strategies for dealing with its symptoms. Topics include: techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep; appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength; appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition; pacing activity and rest; and how to evaluate new treatments. Masonic Public Takeout/Pickup Supper

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, the Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton , Maine , will be offering a Public Takeout - Pickup Supper, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The menu will consist of Baked Roast Beef, Potatoes, Vegetables, Rolls and Molasses Cookies. Cost of the meal for Adults will be $9.00 and $5.00 for those under the age of 12. Earth Day Volunteer Cleanup

April 22 from 1-3PM volunteers will be meeting outside at the Pierce House, 204 Main St. next to the Post Office for a town cleanup in celebration of Earth Day. All are invited and welcome to participate in promoting a safe and healthy environment by picking up litter! Bags and gloves will be provided. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. It is recommended that bright colors be worn for safety by those cleaning up near roadways. Prizes will be awarded in several categories.
