ArtsFarmington Keyboard Festival–Live Panel Discussion

In conjunction with the ArtsFarmington Keyboard Festival performances of keyboard artists Rebecca Pechefsky (April 10), David Kim (April 17), and George Lopez (April 24), there will be a Live Zoom Panel Discussion with the three performers together on May 2 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. This will be a time to learn from the artists and ask questions. The discussion will be moderated by Aaron Wyanski, Assistant Professor of Music at UMF. This live event is available to the general public free of charge to those who register for the Festival series or any individual concert, or $10 for anyone

This class is designed for people who are living with chronic pain. The workshop offers strategies for dealing with its symptoms. Topics include: techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep; appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength; appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition; pacing activity and rest; and how to evaluate new treatments.
