This class is designed for people who are living with chronic pain. The workshop offers strategies for dealing with its symptoms. Topics include: techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep; appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength; appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition; pacing activity and rest; and how to evaluate new treatments. Public Masonic Takeout/Pickup Supper

On Saturday, May 15, the Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road in East Wilton, will be offering a Public Takeout/Pickup meal from 5 - 6 p.m. The menu will be roast pork, potatoes, vegetables, applesauce, rolls and dessert. $9 for adults and $5 for 12 years and under. Please reserve your meals by 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 13. Reservations for meat can be made by calling Alan Morison 645-4366, Robert Lawrence 778-2354 or Alvin McDonald 645-2190. Home deliveries are also offered in the Wilton and Farmington area for $10 per meal.
