Artists, Crafters, and Vendors Wanted

The Maine Forestry Museum at 221 Stratton Rd. in Rangeley is looking for any vendors for our 40th Annual Logging Festival being held Friday & Saturday, July 16th & 17th. Booths are $25 a day for a 10x10 space. As a special, if you vend both Friday and Saturday, Saturday is Free. The Festival runs from 10-4 pm on Friday and from 11-4 pm Saturday following our Parade. Mushroom Day

Mushroom Day 2021 SATURDAY JULY 17, 2021 Join us for a full day of everything Mushrooms! We'll have a brief introduction to mushroom biology and life cycle led by Jula Moll-Rocek & Ellie Sloane-Barton, followed by a foraging walk led by experienced forager Cynthia Hoeh Stancioff. We'll share a potluck lunch, and hear about some cooking insights and ideas with all kinds of mushrooms (even pickling!). Then we'll have a discussion of outdoor cultivation techniques, and some hands-on learning inoculating shiitake logs! On Saturday, July 17, 2021, The Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine, will be offering a Public Lobster or SteakTakeout - Pickup ,meal from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The meal will include your choice of Boiled Lobster or Rib Eye Steak with coleslaw, half an ear of corn, and blueberry cake for desert. A Single entree meal of Lobster or Steak will cost $20.00. The walk will start at the new parking area for the Ezra Smith Conservation Area, down near the Pond Road end of Blake Hill Road.
