The 7th annual Maine Outdoor Film Festival will be held on Friday night, September 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main Street, in Rangeley. Farmington Historical Society yard sale

Farmington Historical Society will be holding it's almost annual yard sale this coming Saturday, September 4th from 8 until 2 on the lawn of the Octagon House, corner of High and Perham Sts. The sale was not held last year so there will be more items for sale. All proceeds go to heating and maintaining the three buildings the society manages, the North Church, the Octagon also known as the Hiram Ramsdell House, and the Titcomb House. Funds are also needed to keep it's collection of historic Farmington artifacts and documents safe and available to the public. For more information
