The Wayne Community Church auction is back this summer, offered both online and as an in-house silent auction! The online auction begins on Friday, JULY 1st and runs through Saturday, JULY 9th. 20th Annual Summer Performing Arts Camp 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily (including weekends) July 1-16 July 1 is registration: come between 8 and 12 to register and work a bit. Performance on the 16th. This program is free; it is a demanding pre-professional program in dance, singing, acting, fencing, and art. Ages 6-17. Gold Leaf Senior College at UMF , art exhibit. The exhibit features 29 local artists/Goldleaf members working in acrylics,oils, photography, wood, glass and more. The exhibit will be at the Emery Art Center on the UMF campus. The opening reception will be on June 17th from 5-7PM. and will continue thru July 29th.
United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is hosting the first Hunger Solutions Exchange to bring together all responding to food insecurity in greater Franklin County. Whether you are operating, supporting, donating to, collaborating with or volunteering at a pantry, meal program, annual holiday dinner, blessing box, Little Free Pantry, or other way of providing food free of charge to the people of greater Franklin County, we hope you will join us at the University of Maine at Farmington, North Dining Hall and Roberts Courtyard from 8:30 a.m. to noon on June 17. The Roderick-Crosby American Legion Post 28 will hold its Ron L. Smith Sr Memorial Car Wash fundraiser on Saturday, June 18th from 9 am to 2 pm at the Wiles Monument building located on 140 Farmington Falls Rd, Farmington, ME. Donations are accepted for car washes. Proceeds benefit Post 28 veteran service programs. Rain date will be Sunday, June 19th from 9 am to 2 pm.
World class juggler and physical comedian Michael Menes to perform at Chesterville Center Union Meeting House at 6:30 p.m. with 4:00 pm kid-friendly juggling workshop and cookout before the show. Donations recommended $5 individual, $10 family to support the Meeting House. The Meeting House is located at 3 Borough Road; Chesterville, ME.

Join the Strong Public Library as we kick off the summer with a fun, interactive program that includes a surprise live animal guest! Explore Earth’s biomes with Chewonki’s traveling natural history program. A variety of different biomes will be showcased, including one from far away, and two from closer to home–the ocean, and our temperate forest. Event held in the Forster Memorial Building in Strong.
The Western Maine Foothills Band will be performing in Farmington's Meeting House Park every Monday starting June 6, 2022 and ending Aug. 29, 2022 from 7 PM until 8:30 PM.
