City Lights North Summer Performing Arts Camp

20th Annual Summer Performing Arts Camp 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily (including weekends) July 1-16 July 1 is registration: come between 8 and 12 to register and work a bit. Performance on the 16th. This program is free; it is a demanding pre-professional program in dance, singing, acting, fencing, and art. Ages 6-17. Gold Leaf Senior College at UMF , art exhibit.  The exhibit features 29 local artists/Goldleaf members working in acrylics,oils, photography, wood, glass and more.  The exhibit will be at the Emery Art Center on the UMF campus.  The opening reception will be on June 17th from 5-7PM.  and will continue thru July 29th.

Chewonki’s Biomes Program

Join the Strong Public Library as we kick off the summer with a fun, interactive program that includes a surprise live animal guest!  Explore Earth’s biomes with Chewonki’s traveling natural history program.  A variety of different biomes will be showcased, including one from far away, and two from closer to home–the ocean, and our temperate forest.  Event held in the Forster Memorial Building in Strong.

Western Maine Foothills Band Concert in the park series

The Western Maine Foothills Band will be performing in Farmington's Meeting House Park every Monday starting June 6, 2022 and ending Aug. 29, 2022 from 7 PM until 8:30 PM. We are a traditional band that plays marches, waltz's, big band, and several other choice music. We welcome anyone to join us at any time through out the summer. You can find us on Facebook.
