Franklin County has a rich tradition of talented musicians drawing from many styles of music from Country, Folk, Americana, Celtic to Contemporary.  St. Joseph’s Parish is hosting a monthly open mic night usually on the last Thursday of every month but this is adjustable. We wish to provide a venue that continues to celebrate and foster the musical talent within Franklin County. Professionals and newcomers are all welcome to listen, perform and collaborate. Bring your friends and family, or just come as an audience to listen. Admission is free! Sponsored by the Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce, and other local businesses, the 2023 Apple Pumpkin Festival will feature a variety of vendors and craft artisans, agricultural products, historical and educational displays, seasonal decorations, antique tractors, raffles, and plenty of food all day long! There will be local musicians entertaining throughout the day.

ArtsFarmington is pleased to sponsor this fall’s concert by Maine Mountain Chamber Music. It is a special concert that we have called: “Music from Colby”. It will be a repeat presentation of their concert given the night before at Colby in celebration of the opening of Colby’s new arts center, the Gordon Center for Creative and Performing Arts. The concert in Farmington will be on Sunday, Oct. 1st at 3:00 pm in Nordica Auditorium, Merrill Hall, at 224 Main Street.  For this special concert, MMCM founders Yuri Funahashi (piano) and Laurie Kennedy (viola) will be joined by eight outstanding musicians
