Rangeley Region Guides and Sportsmen Association will host a 2- day Landlocked Salmon Fishing Derby  from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 19th and 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 20th on Mooselookmeguntic Lake.The headquarters will be at River's Edge Sport Shop at 38 Carry Rd. Oquossoc, ME 04964. It is a NO LIMIT fishing derby to catch Landlocked Salmon under 16". The most landlocked salmon caught by a individual or a boat will be declared winners. Public Masonic take out/pick up supper

On Saturday, June 19, 2021, the Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masoni Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine, will be offering a Public Takout-Pickup Supper, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The menu will consist of Spaghetti and Meatballs, Green Salad, Rolls, Dessert. Mushroom Day, July 17

Mushroom Day 2021 SATURDAY JULY 17, 2021 Join us for a full day of everything Mushrooms! We'll have a brief introduction to mushroom biology and life cycle led by Jula Moll-Rocek, followed by a foraging walk led by experienced forager Cynthia Hoeh Stancioff. We'll share a potluck lunch, and hear about some cooking insights and ideas with all kinds of mushrooms (even pickling!). Then we'll have a discussion of outdoor cultivation techniques, and some hands-on learning inoculating shiitake logs!
