The Paper & Heritage Museum will be open for tours and refreshments 4pm to 8pm as part of History Night in Livermore Falls. Tours are free and for all ages. The museum is a non-profit, volunteer organization. All donations go toward museum repairs and operation costs.

Backroad Books read-a-thon!

You're invited to the Backroad Books 12-hour read-a-thon! The event will be May 21 from noon to midnight in the courthouse parking lot adjacent from Java Joes (church street) in Farmington. Bring your book! Bring your camp chair! Bring a few bucks for ice cream from Fresh Ellas! Pledge cards can be picked up at Twice Sold Tales (155 Main Street, Farmington). Benefit for Terry Tyler

Terry was diagnosed with cancer back in February of this year. Terry has owned the Tyler's Auto Body in Strong for many years and is known well by his community. The Farmington Elks Lodge, located at 120 School Street in West Farmington, will be having a Spaghetti dinner with all the fixing for $8.00 a person this Saturday, May 21st. There will also be a silent and live auction along with a  50/50 raffle. All proceeds will be going to Terry  to help with his medical expenses and travel. See less

On Saturday, May 21, 2022, there will be a Public Pickup /Takeout Supper at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine , from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The menu will be Baked Roast Beef, Potatoes, Vegetable, Rolls and Pumpkin Pie Crunch. The price will be $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for those under 12. Home deliveries are available in the Wilton and Farmington area for $10.00 per meal. Reservations by Thursday, May 19th by 5:00 pm would be most appreciated. Katahdin Valley boys

The Vienna Union Hall announced the Katahdin Valley Boys one of Maines’s premiere bluegrass bands will return to the Vienna Union Hall, May 21, 2022 at 7 PM. The group plays traditional bluegrass music throughout the State of Maine and New England area. The band consists of four members who all rotate singing lead and provide beautiful, tight, harmonies and smooth solos.
