Topics include: techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep; appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength; appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition; pacing activity and rest; and how to evaluate new treatments. In conjunction with the ArtsFarmington Keyboard Festival performances of keyboard artists Rebecca Pechefsky (April 10), David Kim (April 17), and George Lopez (April 24), there will be a Live Zoom Panel Discussion with the three performers together on May 2 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. This will be a time to learn from the artists and ask questions. The discussion will be moderated by Aaron Wyanski, Assistant Professor of Music at UMF.
