Friends of Wilson Lake (FOWL) is offering free pontoon boat rides on Wilson Lake on Friday, August 4, 1:00 to 4:00. Boats depart from the boat launch in Wilton. Children must be accompanied by an adult; no pets allowed. Like jackets will be provided (or bring your own). The theme of the night will be Home, Sweet Home, and all questions and answers will focus on Farmington and the surrounding area. Winning teams will receive both prizes and bragging rights! People may play either solo or as part of a team, but please no more than 6 people to a team. Attendance is $5 per person. The doors to the back room at the Homestead will open at 6pm and the game will begin at 6:30.

The Farmington Historical Society will host the Annual Labor Day Yard Sale on Saturday September 2nd on the lawn at the Octagon House. The fun will start at 8am sharp-no early birds.
