Body found in Wilton not considered suspicious

WILTON – Investigators with the State Police and Wilton Police Department are investigating the death of a  white male in his late teens or early 20s with a slender build found in a car parked on a lot off Weld Road. The report came in at 2:07 p.m. Saturday.

“The unattended death is not considered suspicous at this time, but the medial examiner will perform an autopsy within a few days,” according to a press release issued by the Wilton Police Department. 

An unidentified woman called police after she reportedly found the body in the passenger’s seat of a vehicle parked in a lot at 225 Weld Road in Wilton.

Identification of the deceased is being withheld until family members can be notified, police said. The investigation continues.
