The Apple Pumpkin Festival, sponsored by the Jay-Livermore-Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce has been postponed to 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 due to heavy rain expected tomorrow and bad field conditions at the Livermore Falls Rec Field, organizers said.

“We had every intention of making this rain or shine, but with the weather we’ll be getting it just wasn’t going to work. The field would not allow us to set up, and it wasn’t fair to the vendors and musicians,” according to event’s the web site.

However, The Adventure Race will go on as planned at Spruce Mountain Ski Slope. The three-part race with kayaks, bikes and running starts at 8:30 a.m., with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Spruce Mountain Ski Slope.
