INAUGURAL BALL: Farmington’s Inaugural Ball is just a few weeks away! Festivities begin on at 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24 at the UMF North Dining Hall. Shepherd’s Pie (pictured here) along with others will be providing music and entertainment. The band consists of (l-r) Patty Schoen, Kat Paulson, Chris Yardley, Tim Wallace, Jon Abell and Jodie Gunther. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at Mickey’s Hallmark in Farmington, Food City in Wilton and My Dad’s Place in North Jay. Student tickets are $3 with a valid ID. Proceeds with benefit the Fuel Oil Fund for needy local families.
